Before starting my own photography company, I had the opportunity to work with an established photography team called Versatile Photographers; where I developed my skills, gained valuable industry experience, and discovered what it truly takes to become a professional photographer.
Working in a professional photography environment taught me much more than how to operate a camera. I learned how to work with different types of clients, understand their needs, manage demanding assignments, and deliver quality work under pressure. From corporate events and portraits to weddings, commercial assignments, and everyday client sessions, every project became an opportunity to learn and grow.
One of the greatest lessons I gained was that photography is not simply about taking beautiful pictures. It is about understanding people, telling stories, paying attention to details, mastering light, and creating images that have meaning and value to the client.
Most beautiful family photographs are not simply posed—they are felt.
I learned to capture genuine connection, laughter, love, and the little moments that make every family unique. From family portraits and maternity sessions to celebrations and lifestyle photography, each experience shaped my approach to creating timeless imagery.
I learnt the importance of capturing more than just a face—it is about presence, personality, and confidence.
I developed a strong understanding of lighting, posing, composition, and directing clients to create portraits that feel natural yet refined.
From corporate headshots and professional profiles to personal and editorial portraits, every session is approached with precision and attention to detail.
I learnt how to create images that communicate confidence, professionalism, and brand identity.
From corporate events and workplace storytelling, I understand the importance of making every person and brand look authentic, polished, and approachable.
In addition, as part of the Team and as shown from portfolio above, i learned the importance of professionalism—being punctual, prepared, respectful, creative, and consistent.
Working alongside experienced photographers exposed me to different shooting techniques, lighting approaches, composition, editing workflows, client communication, and the business side of photography.
The experience also taught me that every assignment comes with its own challenges. Equipment can fail, lighting can change, timelines can be tight, and clients can have different expectations. These experiences taught me to remain calm, think creatively, adapt quickly, and always find a solution.
Most importantly, I learned that growth in photography never stops. Every shoot, every client, every mistake, and every successful image has something to teach.
Those experiences became the foundation on which I built my own photography company. I took the knowledge, discipline, creativity, and lessons from those years and combined them with my own vision—to create a photography brand focused on quality, storytelling, professionalism, and meaningful visual experiences.
Starting my own company was not starting from zero. It was building on years of experience, lessons, relationships, challenges, and passion that shaped the photographer and entrepreneur I am today.
